Fundraising
Participation in Scout fundraisers is completely voluntary. Scout Account reports will be emailed quarterly by our Troop Treasurer, Sam Najjar, or you can contact him for any specific requests at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Scout Fair Coupon Packs
Coupon books are sold in March-April before the Scout Fair. They are $10 each and the scout account receives $4.50 per book during early turn-in. The amount received decreases to $4.10 by the final scout turn-in in April. A volunteer coordinator manages the program each year. This fundraiser also helps the Council and District.
Fiesta Super Sports Club
This is a product rebate program but you do not need to shop at Fiesta. The scout account receives 100 % of rebate value.
Fiesta will pay 5 cents up to 50 cents, for selected product labels, lids, or wrappers. The SCORECARDs show what labels, lids, and wrappers to save and are available at Troop meetings. Fiesta offers a 50 % bonus for items turned in on March. Scouts should record the number of items collected for each product, calculate their savings, and submit their Scorecard along with their bagful of labels. The final turn-in is mid-May but there is no bonus so we will likely save our items till next year. Those of us who participate save labels all year but the product list varies slightly from year-to-year. Lisa Herzog has the 2011 scorecards if you want to save products year-round. A new volunteer coordinator is needed. The 2011 list is below:
